About The Position

Humano, a leading third-party warehouse provider, is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Team Lead to support daily warehouse operations. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working alongside their team while providing guidance and support throughout the shift. This is primarily a working lead position, with the majority of the day spent performing physical warehouse duties, including unloading freight. Leadership responsibilities typically account for approximately one hour per shift, which includes supporting one warehouse associate, communicating with management, and helping ensure daily operations run smoothly.

Requirements

Minimum of 1 year of warehouse experience.
Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.

Nice To Haves

At least 6 months of warehouse leadership, team lead, or supervisory experience preferred.
Experience unloading trailers or performing manual warehouse labor strongly preferred.
Strong work ethic with the ability to lead by example.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Forklift or warehouse equipment experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

Perform manual warehouse work, including unloading freight and other general warehouse tasks.
Work alongside the team while setting the pace for productivity and safety.
Provide day-to-day guidance and support to one warehouse associate.
Communicate with warehouse management regarding daily operations, productivity, and any issues that arise.
Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
Ensure company safety procedures and operational standards are followed.
Assist with training new employees as needed.
Support process improvements and maintain a positive, team-oriented work environment.
