Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum four years related experience
- Minimum one year supervisory experience
- 3–5 years of inventory control or warehouse experience
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory control processes
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, web-based and job specific software applications
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Ability to allocate work assignments
- Proven experience in problem analysis, presentation of alternatives and implementing solutions
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s Degree in International Business, Logistics or Supply Chain Management, Transportation, Finance or related discipline preferred or equivalent combination of work experience and education
- Three years of industry experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate inventory control activities, cycle counting, storage and shipping verification
- Lead and train inventory team members to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Monitor inventory levels and investigate discrepancies (shortages, overages, damages)
- Perform regular cycle counts and support full physical inventory audits
- Maintain accurate inventory records in WMS system
- Analyze inventory data and generate reports on inventory performance and trends
- Implement and improve inventory control procedures and best practices
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
- Identify and resolve inventory-related issues quickly to minimize operational impact
