Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum four years related experience
  • Minimum one year supervisory experience
  • 3–5 years of inventory control or warehouse experience
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory control processes
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, web-based and job specific software applications
  • Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS)
  • Ability to allocate work assignments
  • Proven experience in problem analysis, presentation of alternatives and implementing solutions
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree in International Business, Logistics or Supply Chain Management, Transportation, Finance or related discipline preferred or equivalent combination of work experience and education
  • Three years of industry experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate inventory control activities, cycle counting, storage and shipping verification
  • Lead and train inventory team members to ensure accuracy and efficiency
  • Monitor inventory levels and investigate discrepancies (shortages, overages, damages)
  • Perform regular cycle counts and support full physical inventory audits
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in WMS system
  • Analyze inventory data and generate reports on inventory performance and trends
  • Implement and improve inventory control procedures and best practices
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Identify and resolve inventory-related issues quickly to minimize operational impact
