About The Position

As a Warehouse Specialist you will be responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations, including inventory management, receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping of system components. This role ensures operation efficiency, inventory accuracy, regulatory compliance, and timely fulfillment to support installation, service, and customer delivery requirements.

Requirements

  • High School or equivalent qualification required.
  • 5+ years of experience in warehouse operations.
  • Experience in low-voltage, security systems, or fire alarm industry strongly preferred.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform warehouse activities regularly.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily warehouse operations, including parts ordering, receiving, job fulfillment, and shipping.
  • Ensure warehouse layout and organization of warehouse space for optimal workflow.
  • Monitor productivity and continuously maintain and improve processes & procedures.
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels of product at assigned branch location.
  • Oversee cycle counts, physical inventories, and reconciliation processes and minimize shrinkage, damage, and obsolescence.
  • Coordinate with procurement and operations teams on demand planning and stocking levels.
  • Maintain proper storage and handling of sensitive electronic and life-safety equipment.
  • Promote and enforce a safe working environment.
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with carriers and vendors while optimizing freight costs and delivery timelines.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and tracking of shipments.
  • Support field technicians and project teams with timely material availability.
  • Prepare and present operational reports to leadership.
