About The Position

This role is responsible for verifying inventory counts, receiving and organizing parts, and managing various reports to ensure smooth warehouse operations. The position requires adherence to company policies and safety procedures, and may involve covering for the warehouse clerk during their absence. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with potential for holiday and weekend work. The facility is a heavy manufacturing environment producing plywood, where employees are exposed to moving machinery, heat, vibration, noise, and outdoor weather conditions. Safety is paramount, requiring the use of safety glasses, ear plugs, and steel-toed shoes, along with job-specific personal protective equipment.

Requirements

  • Regularly required to stand.
  • Frequently required to walk, use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms.
  • Occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.
  • Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 75 pounds.
  • Safety Glasses, ear plugs, and steel-toed shoes are required.
  • Job-specific personal protective equipment is required for each position.

Responsibilities

  • Verify the inventory count given by the warehouse clerk each day.
  • Receive, label parts and put away parts each day before the end of the shift.
  • Work Match, over 60 and past due reports daily.
  • Keep work area clean and organized, including stockroom shelves.
  • Follow Company policies, procedures and safety rules.
  • Cover for the warehouse clerk when they are out.
