The Warehouse Specialist is responsible for assisting the Supervisors with answering emails, researching overages/shortages, completing daily reports, adding data to daily reports, replacing or finding missing or damaged items, requesting parts, and validating accuracy of inventory / inventory discrepancies. This role involves walking doors to validate inventory against drivers' manifests, ensuring transfer picking accuracy, providing inbound support, and ensuring all items are free of defects or damage. The specialist will also answer and troubleshoot calls, assist stores and customer service with transfer-related questions, manage order/transfer locking and unlocking, and re-commit items on sales orders/transfers. Additionally, they will research inventory discrepancies, send picks for missing/damaged items, perform research on inventory issues, and coordinate with Inventory Control for resolutions. The role includes labeling, rewrapping items, and managing end caps, as well as communicating with stores regarding missing or damaged items and exceptions in the load-out process. The Warehouse Specialist will also conduct dock checking, picking, and other duties as required to manage the workload of the Outbound Department, operate radio frequency equipment, and ensure operations comply with OSHA standards and promote safety.
