About The Position

Everything But The House (EBTH) is a revolutionary marketplace for secondhand goods. We are seeking a Warehouse Specialist to assist with warehouse projects, including organization, managing changes to warehouse processes, supporting production areas (item processing, packaging, customer pickup), and maintaining inventory management processes. This is a dynamic and fast-paced role within a passionate team dedicated to changing the way personal property is sold, bought, and moved across the country.

Requirements

Self-starter with drive, as the business is fast-paced and challenging.
High school diploma required.
Appreciation for dedicated customer service in a fast-paced work environment.
Familiarity and comfort working with Google Suite.
Team player mentality with the ability to work independently.
Ability to maintain a set production schedule and work flexible hours, including nights and weekends if business needs require.
Ability to effectively communicate via email, phone, and in person with employees and customers.
Ability to move/lift up to 100 lbs. when utilizing proper equipment.
Must be located in Ohio and/or the Cincinnati, OH metropolitan area.
Must be authorized to work lawfully in the United States for EBTH.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of antiques, artwork, collectibles and unique items, with the ability to gauge value.

Responsibilities

Support the team with daily activities in the processing center, including receiving, handling, and inventory management.
Record and report any damage found on inbound and outbound shipments.
Respond appropriately to questions and challenges from internal and external customers.
Assist with honing strategic vision and implementing tactical projects within the warehouse.
Conduct pull requests for returns to seller, errors, and missing information on items.
Verify inbound shipments and ensure accurate inventory scanning upon receipt of goods.
Greet customers professionally, friendly, and with care at the EBTH warehouse.
Assist with customer drop-off and pick-up days at the processing center.
Align with management to resolve departmental issues and ensure efficient service.
Implement new processes and test technological advancements to improve internal operations.
Collaborate with other departments, management, and team members to maximize efficiency and timeliness to achieve company KPIs.
Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as needed.
