About The Position

Warehouse Specialists load and unload steel from trucks and store it in service warehouse inventory locations using overhead cranes. They ensure every piece of steel is accounted for and stored in the correct place so customers receive the right materials at the right time. The position supports a safe workplace by following safety policies and safe work practices.

The regular second-shift schedule is 3:30 PM to 1:00 AM, Monday through Friday. Training takes place on day shift for the first 90 days, from 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday. The work involves exposure to summer heat and a moderately stressful, changing environment. It requires extended periods of walking and standing—up to eight hours per day—and frequent lifting, pushing, or pulling of materials weighing up to 60 pounds.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Basic math skills.
• Basic literacy to read instructions and use hand tools.
• Basic computer skills.
