About The Position

To ensure the smooth flow of goods through the supply chain by handling specialized tasks such as resolving inventory discrepancies, managing returns and services. This role focuses on maintaining high levels of accuracy within a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Knowledge and understanding of inventory control practices, return procedures and services
  • Desire for accuracy and quality of work
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Proficiency in computer systems, including Microsoft Office, Warehouse Management Systems and vendor portals
  • Forklift certification
  • Knowledge of basic electrical products
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with others
  • Basic math skills, able to calculate the best usage of material to eliminate waste
  • Able to work in an environment with time-demand pressures
  • Ability to solve problems. Making effective decisions when presented with multiple options; adjusting schedules based on timelines

  • This position potentially includes overnight travel. Additionally, travel to other Schaedler Yesco locations to support initiatives may be required.

Responsibilities

  • Process returns and defective credits
  • Determine if returned material is resalable or defective
  • Complete all paperwork needed to track the successful return of the material
  • Communicate with vendor and salesperson regarding returned material
  • Obtain Return Goods Authorization number from vendor for returned material or Field Scrap paperwork for material to be thrown away
  • Administer credit to customer for returned material if appropriate
  • Maintain proper storage of returned defective material
  • Pull and pack orders when necessary
  • Process in Eclipse/WMS so material can be put back on shelf or returned
  • Process Recycling paperwork
  • Maintain proper storage of all recycling and complete paperwork
  • Arrange pick up of recycling material
  • Process Rockwell Automation repairs/returns
  • Processing return of gloves to be tested and returned or replaced
  • Manage and conduct daily cycle counts
  • Research inventory variances resulting from cycle counts and backorders
  • Manage daily inventory adjustment report and confirm variance per determined threshold
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies resulting from vendor errors or shipping errors
  • Ensure health of inventory by managing date codes and FIFO (first in/first out) best practices
  • Monitor quality of inventory in storage locations (damages, torn label, UL label, etc)
  • Process DTS orders as they are released.
  • Pull/pack/ship as advised by Project Managers
  • Communicate with the Manager with manpower needs to keep the project progressing and ensure proper alignment of tasks.
  • Continually evaluate processes and investigate steps to make improvements with productivity
  • Update and maintain the project schedule and work plan
  • Ensure efficiency and safety
  • Responsible for Kitting Service activities. This includes double checking the materials staged by the warehouse for accuracy, breakout and placement of materials to be combined in kits, place all required components in the properly sized kit bin and double check kits for accuracy.

  • Clean and prepare area for the next project.
