The Special Services Representative is responsible for retaining, selling, up-selling, initiating price improvement, and reducing lost business percentages for “Specialty Lines of Business” in the Region. This role is responsible for acquiring new permanent and temporary service agreements, renewing existing customer service agreements, and margin improvement. This position will manage Portable Toilets (to include “Event Work”), Haul it Away, and Tire Sales.

Requirements

  • Possess strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills
  • Must be self motivated and able to work independently to meet or exceed goals
  • Must present and communicate in a professional manner
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be organized with good time management skills
  • Possess proven analytical/problem solving solutions for the customer and the company
  • Proficient in Windows and Microsoft applications
  • Two (2) years sales experience required
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States
  • Must successfully complete pre-employment testing
  • Must be able to read and speak the English language
  • Valid driver’s license (if applicable)

Nice To Haves

  • Two (2) years business to business sales experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Oversee account management of assigned existing customer base, with focus on customer satisfaction and quality of revenue.
  • Retain and develop long-term business relationships with existing customers through proactive engagement to ensure customer expectations are met and quality margins are maintained.
  • Secure fully executed customer service agreements, process paperwork, complete credit applications, process credit card payments.
  • Utilize the company’s CRM on a daily basis, scheduling and documenting activities, and developing prospective customer profiles.
  • Prepare and deliver professional sales proposals/presentations.
  • Work with other sales team members to promote the “special” Lines of Business.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of Rumpke’s available services, lines of business,
  • Perform other duties as assigned
