Warehouse/Shipping Worker
About The Position
The Warehouse Shipping Worker is responsible for supporting shipping operations by accurately pulling, staging, and preparing products for timely and efficient distribution. This role requires the ability to operate a high-reach forklift to pull, stage, and replenish inventory up to 40 ft. The worker will also be responsible for picking, packing, and preparing orders accurately for shipment, as well as loading and unloading trucks using proper material handling and safety procedures. Updating shipment information within the warehouse management system and maintaining a clean and organized workspace in a fast-paced environment are also key aspects of this position.
Requirements
- Ability to operate a high-reach (narrow aisle) forklift required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, physically active environment
- Basic computer skills for scanning and shipping systems
- Dependable with strong attendance and work ethic
- Must successfully pass a pre-employment physical and drug screening
