About The Position

Responsible for performing basic shipping tasks in a manufacturing facility. This role involves preparing and packaging products for shipment, operating basic shipping equipment, maintaining inventory records, assisting with loading, and ensuring the cleanliness and safety of the shipping area. The position requires basic computer skills, good communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a physically demanding environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a shipping or warehouse environment is preferred but not required.
• Forklift, Manlift, and Tractor certification may be required.
• Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and data entry.
• Good communication skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy.

• Willingness to work in a physically demanding environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and packages products for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
• Operates basic shipping equipment, such as hand trucks, pallet jacks, and wrapping machines.
• Maintains accurate records of shipped goods in the inventory management system.
• Assists in loading trucks and containers.
• Ensures the cleanliness and organization of the shipping area.
• Follows all safety protocols and guidelines.
• Responds to emails when necessary.
