About The Position

Thermacell is seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse Shipping Clerk to manage package receiving and shipping operations at their Buford, GA facility. This role is crucial for ensuring accurate and efficient recording of all items processed. The position reports to the Warehouse Management Team.

Requirements

High school diploma
1-2 years’ experience in warehousing and shipping/receiving clerk
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Excellent organizational skills and time management abilities
Great communication skills
Keen attention to detail
Problem solving
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Ability to walk/stand 8-10 hours
Ability to read and comprehend customer order, bills of lading, etc.
Basic math skills
Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

Generates waves (pick tickets) for picking and ensures they are posted for pickers promptly.
Ensures customer shipping compliance is met.
Updates SOPs when requirements change.
Books and generates accurate BOLs for shipments, including internal TMS and various customer portals for collect customers.
Creates UCC labels and prints them through SPS Commerce or other portals.
QC's orders after picking is completed to ensure accuracy.
Physically preps shipments with placards, carrier pro #s, BOLs, etc.
Physically wraps pallets and UCC labels orders when needed.
Maintains a clean, safe, and organized warehouse/office environment.
Communicates effectively and maintains positive relationships with carriers.
Sends advance shipment notices (ASN’s) to Amazon Vendor Central, Menards Portal, and SPS Commerce.
Generates small parcel shipment labels within customer compliance (FedEx and UPS Orders).
Quickships orders within NetSuite after carrier pickups.
Uses RF scan gun.
Maintains a high level of knowledge in NetSuite.
Works with internal & external seasonal workers to ensure team knows UCC placement requirements and other prep work needed on shipments to maintain compliance.
Cross-trains team members.
Complies with internal policies and industry regulations.
Other duties as assigned.
