Leidos is seeking an energetic, motivated self-starter for a Warehouse Shipping and Receiving Specialist position, assisting in the development of a variety of naval training and simulation systems such as CIAT – Combined Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) and Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) Trainer. You will be responsible for the receipt of new material, managing the movement of material from receipt to production; movement of material between Leidos and government facilities (including truck rental and driving); shipping of finished goods to trainer sites; and the movement of obsolete equipment back from trainer sites. You will also be responsible for statusing material in the inventory control system, assisting the building computer equipment racks and cabinets, and assisting the cabling of computer networks. You will also occasionally travel to and assist with the installation of trainer equipment at government trainer sites.

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance.
  • 2+ years of related work experience
  • Experience receiving, processing, and tracking materials from receipt through production using the inventory control system.
  • Experience with material movement between facilities, including shipping, returns, and truck operation.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to travel and support equipment installations at customer or government sites.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to operate rental trucks for material transport.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Atlassian Products, such as JIRA and Confluence.
  • Familiarity with property management procedures and systems.
