About The Position

The Warehouse Shift Supervisor will train, mentor, and evaluate warehouse associates and drivers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment. This role involves creating, documenting, and coaching associates, as well as maintaining employee review structures. The supervisor will oversee daily warehouse operations for their shift, ensuring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are met or exceeded based on established reports. Responsibilities include enforcing company policies, procedures, and safety regulations, managing inbound, outbound, and internal shipments to ensure timely customer service, and maintaining a clean, safe, and secure warehouse environment. The role also requires participation in department and safety meetings, the ability to assist with floor roles depending on staffing needs, and cross-functional communication for smooth operations. Additionally, the supervisor will own shift handoffs, perform regular system-based checks for SAP warehouse maintenance, maintain correct inventory levels and counts, ensure quality of goods, and manage the fleet of lifting equipment.

Requirements

  • Warehouse lead/supervisory experience
  • Strong leadership, communication and change management skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently
  • Experience in Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to analyze reports to generate change

Responsibilities

  • Create, document, and coach associates and maintain employee review structures
  • Oversee daily warehouse operations for your shift and ensure KPIs are met/exceeded based on established reports
  • Enforce company policies, procedures, and safety regulations
  • Manage inbound, outbound, and internal shipments while ensuring customers are served in a timely manner
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and secure warehouse environment
  • Conducts and/or participates in Department meetings and Safety meetings
  • Ability to assist with roles on floor depending on staffing needs
  • Communicate cross-functionally to proactively ensure smooth warehouse operations
  • Own shift handoff to ensure smooth transfer of responsibility between each shift
  • Perform regular system based checks to ensure best SAP warehouse maintenance
  • Maintain correct inventory levels/counts and create corrections when necessary
  • Ensure quality of goods meets set standards at both inbound received and final goods outbound loading
  • Manage fleet of lifting equipment to ensure regular maintenance and needed repairs are conducted in timely manner
