Warehouse Selector Full Time
About The Position
Gordon Food Service takes pride in delivering seamless order processing and delivery to our customers, and our warehouse staff is the backbone of our success. Selecting is physically demanding, highly rewarding work. No prior experience is required — our dedicated training team will teach you everything you need to know to succeed! What to expect on the job: You will be on your feet, moving and selecting product for 10-hour shifts. You will regularly lift up to 100 pounds. You will work in a fast-paced environment, including our multi-temperature areas (such as our freezer).
Requirements
- 18 years of age or older.
- Available to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed.
- Comfortable working in extreme cold or hot conditions.
- Able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English (to read labels, pick lists, scanners, and safety signs).
- Able to successfully pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
Nice To Haves
- Prior warehouse experience is a plus, but not required.
