About The Position

US Foods is seeking motivated individuals to join their warehouse team as Warehouse Selectors. This role is crucial for the company's success in the foodservice industry, focusing on safely and accurately selecting customer orders. Team members are expected to meet weekly standards for productivity and accuracy, perform equipment checks, and operate electric pallet jacks. The position involves moving products from racks to pallets, validating selections, and delivering products to the dock area. Teamwork is essential for maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.

Requirements

Must be able to read and communicate in English to attend trainings, receive safety instruction, and complete reports.
Able to work 8+ hour night shifts, Sunday through Thursday (weekends and holidays as needed).
Comfortable working in a multi-temperature environment ranging from -5°F to over 100°F.
Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively, moving 1,000+ cases per shift.

Nice To Haves

Recent experience in a physically demanding or endurance-based role preferred (e.g., sports, construction, warehouse).
Experience selecting large-scale orders or operating a motorized pallet jack preferred.

Responsibilities

Safely and accurately select customer orders.
Build and wrap pallets to meet weekly standards for productivity and accuracy.
Perform pre-shift equipment checks and safely operate an electric pallet jack.
Carefully move products from racks to pallets as directed by order-selecting software and equipment.
Validate that correct product has been selected and is damage-free.
Efficiently deliver products to the correct dock area and shrink-wrap palletized orders.
Team up to clear aisles of debris, stack empty pallets, and return pallet jacks to the charging area.
