About The Position

This role is responsible for ensuring that machinery, equipment, floors, walls, and ceilings are properly cleaned and sanitized according to schedule. The position also involves conducting necessary preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment, performing final inspections to ensure readiness for production according to company S.S.O.P.'s, and potentially operating forklifts and hand lifts to move product. Safety is paramount, and employees must work safely under all conditions and procedures, report work-related injuries and illnesses, and communicate any process or equipment problems to their supervisor. Adherence to policies, rules, regulations, and procedures, along with accurate and efficient task completion, is expected.

Requirements

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Must be able to speak English fluently.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Follow policies, rules, regulations, and procedures.
• Perform all duties accurately and efficiently.
