About The Position

Everflow Supplies is seeking a motivated and safety-focused Warehouse Safety Lead to help build and maintain a strong culture of workplace safety at our Sugar Land distribution center. This role will serve as the primary safety resource for the facility, partnering with warehouse leadership and employees to promote safe work practices, ensure OSHA compliance, and reduce workplace incidents. The Warehouse Safety Lead will lead safety training, conduct facility inspections, oversee equipment safety programs, and drive continuous improvement initiatives while also supporting warehouse operations during periods of downtime.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of warehouse experience with a strong focus on workplace safety.
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and warehouse safety best practices.
  • Strong understanding of dock safety, material handling equipment, and warehouse operations.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to train, coach, and influence employees.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with warehouse leadership.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience conducting forklift training or certifications is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the facility's safety program and promote a positive, proactive safety culture.
  • Conduct daily warehouse walkthroughs to identify, address, and document potential safety hazards.
  • Facilitate 10–15 minute weekly safety meetings for warehouse employees on both shifts.
  • Organize and lead monthly Safety Committee meetings with warehouse and office personnel.
  • Conduct forklift certification and recertification training for warehouse employees.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, company policies, and all applicable safety standards.
  • Investigate workplace incidents, determine root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Monitor and verify completion of pre-shift and post-shift inspections for all material handling equipment.
  • Coach employees on proper equipment operation, safe work practices, and housekeeping standards.
  • Maintain safety records, training documentation, and inspection logs.
  • Partner with operations leadership to identify opportunities for continuous safety improvements.
  • Assist warehouse operations during downtime as needed.
