About The Position

Rexel USA is seeking a Warehouse Route Driver to join their team in Denver, CO. This role is responsible for delivering products to and from customers, company branches/warehouses, and suppliers using a delivery van or box truck (no CDL required). The driver will ensure deliveries are prepared efficiently, that materials are correct and undamaged, and will handle necessary documentation. This position operates Monday through Friday from 7:00 PM to 3:00 AM and includes a $1,500 sign-on bonus with weekends off.

Requirements

  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must pass a pre-employment and annual review of the Motor Vehicle Record.
  • Must obtain verification of non-expired medical certificate as required by law within 60 days of hire.
  • Must not have had a suspended driver's license for a traffic accident/violation within the past 3 years.
  • Must not have any at-fault accidents in the past 3 years.
  • Ability to handle loads with a combined weight not to exceed 26,000 GVW.
  • Ability to handle basic issues and problems.
  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations and familiarity with traffic and driver laws.
  • Willingness to adhere to assigned routes, schedules, safety procedures, and transportation laws.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills; ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed.
  • In lieu of experience, must attend company driver training.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect company vehicle for visual and operating defects and complete a daily inspection report.
  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness, service, and maintenance, reporting any repair or service needs to the supervisor.
  • Adhere to Department of Transportation (DOT), local, and state driving laws and regulations.
  • Load or unload the vehicle, verifying the accuracy of material quantity and type for each order and ensuring materials are free of damage before departure.
  • Assist in preparing orders for delivery.
  • Ensure all appropriate documentation is completed accurately at the time of delivery, including customer signature on delivery receipt, packing list, and branch/warehouse manifest.
  • Pick up material returns from customers, inspecting material condition and verifying quantities and catalog numbers.
  • Pick up material from company suppliers.
  • Support other warehouse duties as needed, such as preparing and filling orders, and receiving, stocking, staging, and shipping material.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
