About The Position

The warehouse returns specialist is responsible for various material handling activities at the warehouse which may include: unloading trucks, loading trucks, processing returns, stocking merchandise, moving merchandise, inventory counts and preparing totes and merchandise for outbound freight. This position is also responsible for maintaining warehouse appearance, security, safety and daily operational standards as set by warehouse management.

Responsibilities

Unloading trucks
Loading trucks
Processing returns
Stocking merchandise
Moving merchandise
Inventory counts
Preparing totes and merchandise for outbound freight
Maintaining warehouse appearance, security, and safety
Scanning or manually checking in all incoming returned product from stores and vendors
Ensuring paperwork is in order to be forwarded to the warranty specialist
Shrink wrapping all cores/warranties and placing them in the holding area for pick-up
Re-boxing items as needed and directed, recording re-boxing information and forwarding to the Warranty Specialist on a weekly basis
Assisting other team members as needed
Straightening shelves
Sweeping
Completing tote placements
Servicing other areas of the warehouse as appropriate
Assisting in other ways as assigned by the warehouse supervisor
Representing Auto Value and the APH team in a professional and positive manner
Maintaining a calm, positive demeanor when working with employees and customers
Meeting standards set for interaction with customers and co-workers
Following company procedures
Ensuring accuracy of material handling and returns activities
