Requirements

High school diploma/ GED
Basic reading, writing and math skills.
Computer knowledge with ability to adapt to warehouse software programs.
Ability to lift up to 100 pounds. Proper lifting procedures must be followed.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Comfortable with machinery reaching heights of 25 ft
Ability to perform duties in freezer and coolers.
Must be able to stand, walk, stoop, bend, kneel, sit, operate warehouse equipment.
Must be able to use hands to handle and feel objects, perform fine finger movements, reach with hands and arms, and have the ability to see, talk, and hear.
Must be able to regularly lift and carry up to 100 lbs on a regular basis.
Ability to work in a cold environment for extended periods with temperatures reaching -10.
Possess normal vision with or without correction and able to distinguish colors.
Possess fluent speech in English, writing and communication skills necessary to effectively carry out job functions.

Responsibilities

Demonstrate reliability and strong teamwork by actively collaborating with colleagues, supporting team goals, and maintaining a positive and cooperative attitude in a fast-paced environment.
Breakdown skids as necessary, to ensure that the stockers can clearly identify product and disperse it efficiently.
Complete assigned maintenance areas daily.
Be a reliable and cooperative team player, fill in as necessary and engage fully in the working environment. Demonstrate willingness to learn new skills for professional advancement and growth of the company.
Assist the receiver by transporting accepted products to designated storage locations.
Ensure accurate placement of received goods in accordance with warehouse organization and storage procedures.
Handle products with care to prevent damage or contamination.
Operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts, as needed.
Maintain clear and organized storage areas to optimize efficiency and accessibility.
Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines when handling perishable and non-perishable items.
Communicate with receivers and warehouse staff to ensure timely and accurate put-away of inventory.
Assist in keeping the receiving dock clear and organized by promptly moving accepted shipments.
Report any discrepancies, damages, or issues with received products to the receiver or supervisor.
