About The Position

The purpose of the Receiving Lead role is to receive and process all inbound shipping events accurately and timely and within quality specifications, manage inbound dock times, and support all other functions of the warehouse bale management operations for Blue Polymers.

Requirements

High School Diploma
Ability to manage time, organize, and set priorities.
Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

Establish safe and efficient daily procedures.
Coordinate work instructions for all employees in Receiving.
Collaborate with Warehouse Manager to coordinate inbound shipment dock appointments with established protocols.
Assist Warehouse Manager in implementing Lean Manufacturing Practices for work instruction implementation.
Take a hands-on leadership role by Managing by Walking Around (MBWA).
Ensure proper sign-in and out procedures are followed for inbound trucks.
Lead timely inbound inspection of all bale material to enforce quality standards.
Prepare RFID code labels for all bale units.
Ensure the tagging of inbound material, baled and loose, with proper labels.
Accurately & Timely process all necessary paperwork for receipts.
Maintain raw material location records by overseeing the entering of data in ERP.
Direct the storage of raw materials for production staging in coordination with Production for work order allocations.
Assist in unloading trucks, sampling, tagging and movement of materials to proper location.
Must ensure all Receiving technicians are following proper safety protocols through all activities.
Ensure that forklift daily checklists are being completed.
Personal protective equipment (PPE) procedures must be followed.
Uphold the Blue Polymers Code of Conduct standards and be aware of the management policy and objectives.
Maintain company safety, housekeeping and environmental procedures with a focus on Operation Clean Sweep objectives for the exterior of the receiving docks.
Other functions as assigned by Warehouse Manager.
