About The Position

Hudson’s Furniture is a second generation family owned company that has been serving Florida's residents with its mission of 'Turning Houses into Homes' since 1981. We are currently seeking dedicated individuals to join our Warehouse Receiving Team. As a Warehouse Receiving Team Member, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of incoming merchandise and materials. Requirements

Position can be physically demanding, requiring long hours, standing, walking, stooping and physical agility and dexterity, and is subject to weather extremes.
Ability to lift 75 lbs.
Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 75 lbs. with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person.
Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
May require the ability to use PC and RF-based computer systems to perform tasks.
May require the use of manual or powered pallet jacks.
May require the operation of powered lift trucks and/or floor sweepers.

General maintenance abilities a plus.

Responsibilities

Moving and loading furniture on and off of appropriate trucks and/or warehouse racks by scanning, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling furniture.
Reading labels, verifying numbers, memorization, carrying out instructions, and working rapidly for long periods of time.
Performing tasks that are well defined and require general judgment or interpretation.
