About The Position

The Warehouse Receiving Coordinator is responsible for managing the flow of materials and products, ensuring efficient processing of incoming shipments, and maintaining accurate inventory records. This role requires strong communication and organizational skills, as well as an ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The coordinator must also practice safe work habits, follow all safety policies and procedures and regulations, and complete company-wide safety training and any additional job specific safety training. Requirements

  • High school degree
  • Two years’ experience in the receipt, storage, or distribution of food and beverage, supplies or equipment in an entertainment or convention center venue.
  • Ability to promote and participate in a team environment
  • Ability to understand written and oral direction and to communicate same the others
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds in weight (boxes)
  • Practice safe work habits, follow all safety policies and procedures and regulations, complete company-wide safety training and any additional job specific safety training.

Responsibilities

  • Managing and organizing incoming shipments: This involves verifying contents, ensuring proper labeling, and storing materials according to organizational standards
  • Coordinating with other departments: The coordinator works closely with various departments to resolve issues related to deliveries and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Leading the push of product to all stands in the building, communicating with the distribution team and each department to ensure accurate product distribution throughout the building.
  • Maintaining records: They are responsible for recording shipment data, such as weight, charges, space availability, damages, or discrepancies, for reporting, accounting, or recordkeeping purposes.
  • Ensures timely and accurate input of all incoming product information through the inventory management system.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety regulations: The coordinator must adhere to all safety regulations and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • General Housekeeping: Maintains organization of the dock and inventory areas
