Warehouse Receiver - 1st Shift
About The Position

Since 1977, the company has been designing and manufacturing cutting-edge cardio, strength, and group training equipment for both commercial facilities and home use, operating under brands such as Life Fitness, Hammer Strength, Indoor Cycling Group, and SCIFIT. This role is responsible for receiving incoming shipments of merchandise and other materials, as well as outgoing shipments, and maintaining associated records and files.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar position
- Forklift (stand up and sit down) driving experience
- Knowledge of Kanban systems/inventory
- Valid Driver’s License
Nice To Haves
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Two plus years of experience in similar position
- Familiarity with MRP or other compatible manufacturing software – Oracle/Ultriva
- Familiar with Microsoft Office
Responsibilities
- Verifies the accuracy of shipments against bills of lading, invoices, or other records; checks for shortages and rejects damaged goods.
- Routes merchandise and materials to the proper departments and maintains them as necessary.
- Places parts and inbound materials into stock and delivers them to specified departments.
- Confirms quantity and places parts into inventory.
- Conducts cycle counts and continuous inventory audits.
- Receives all purchased materials and/or expense items into the database.
- Performs daily transactions to assist on-line supplier reporting by the purchasing department.
- Initiates the non-conformance process when needed.
- Loads outbound containers; maintains all necessary warehouse and shipping/receiving documentation.
- Drives for pick-ups and deliveries, utilizing Life Fitness Owatonna trucks, if necessary.
- Operates all warehouse material handling equipment.
- Rotates stock as required.
- Notifies Supervisor/Manager of any problems with procedures or equipment.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
