About The Position

This role is responsible for receiving incoming shipments of merchandise and other materials, as well as outgoing shipments, while maintaining accurate records and files.

Requirements

At least 1 year of experience in a similar position
Forklift (stand up and sit down) driving experience
Knowledge of Kanban systems/inventory
Valid Driver’s License

Nice To Haves

High School Diploma or equivalent
Two plus years of experience in similar position
Familiarity with MRP or other compatible manufacturing software – Oracle/Ultriva
Familiar with Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

Verifies the accuracy of shipments against bills of lading, invoices, or other records; checks for shortages and rejects damaged goods.
Routes merchandise and materials to proper departments and maintains as necessary.
Places parts and inbound materials into stock and delivers to specified departments.
Confirms quantity and places parts into inventory.
Conducts cycle counts and continuous inventory audits.
Receives all purchased materials and/or expense items into the database.
Performs daily transactions to assist on-line supplier reporting by the purchasing department.
Initiates the non-conformance process when needed.
Loads outbound containers; maintains all necessary warehouse and shipping/receiving documentation.
Drives for pick-ups and deliveries, utilizing Life Fitness Owatonna trucks, if necessary.
Operates all warehouse material handling equipment.
Rotates stock as required.
Notifies Supervisor/Manager of any problems with procedures or equipment.
Performs other duties as assigned.
