Requirements

3-6 months of Walkie Rider and Reach experience in a warehouse.
Good stable work record.
Ability to operate Walkie Rider and Reach.
General understanding of computers and handheld RF equipment.
Flexible to work 10 to 12 hours shifts when necessary and not afraid of heights.
Picking and moving stock from 1 lb. to 50 lbs. multiple times.
He/she must be able to read, write, and understand English.
Attention to detail and quality a must.
Good communication, clear and concise, problem resolution, and people skills.
Flexibility in working overtime when needed, and supplying coverage to other shifts.
Major experience on Walkie Rider and Reach.
Experience in building pallets with stock and breaking down stock to fill independent orders.
Experience in cross docking freight process.
Ability to work in a fast paced warehouse.
Operates Walkie Rider and Reach safely and efficiently following all OSHA regulations, RJW safety policies, and procedures.
Wearing of seatbelts at all times when operating the forklift.

Nice To Haves

Warehousing certifications a plus.
PC skills helpful.
Reach Truck: 1 year (Preferred)
Walkie Rider: 1 year (Preferred)

Responsibilities

Operate a walkie rider and reach truck safely and efficiently.
Handle all freight inbound or outbound properly and orderly.
Maintain warehouse area with orderly stacking and good housekeeping.
Load and unload RJW truck/trailers and outside carriers safely using proper procedures.
Ensure all shipments are correctly staged, checked, and loaded properly.
Properly store stock in the warehouse.
Perform material handling services for warehouse shipping and receiving activities.
Use a forklift to pick customer orders and load on trailers based on warehouse operations sheets.
Maintain forklift safety at all times following all safety policies and procedures.
Assist Warehouse Manager to ensure efficient operation of the warehouse.
Process outbound cross-dock freight as necessary.
Move product into storage racks.
Record and verify the accuracy of shipments against paperwork for incoming and outgoing shipments/deliveries.
Ensure all documentation and paperwork is properly completed.
Complete daily maintenance inspections.
Handle all customer products properly and orderly.
Check deliveries for poor packing, general condition of materials, and free of damage, alerting the Warehouse Supervisor of any problems and taking pictures if necessary.
Report all accidents/incidents, employee injuries, damage of stock, or building damage to the Shift Supervisor immediately.
Spot trailers to maintain efficient yard organization and flow of equipment.
Maintain access to dock doors, keeping them free of debris or snow.
Other tasks as assigned by manager.
