Warehouse Quality Inspector
About The Position
Ryder is hiring a Quality Inspector in Burnsville, Minnesota. This position offers weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a career you can feel good about. Warehouse Associates work in clean, organized, and well-run facilities to provide the safest supply chain environment. Products being handled include aerospace products. Equipment being used includes computers. US Citizenship is required. Various warehouse fulfillment specialist roles at Ryder support distribution across the US. Requirements
- High school diploma required
- Previous experience in food grade facility
- Experience with GMPs, FDA, USDA, etc.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- US Citizenship
Nice To Haves
- Associate's Degree preferred
Responsibilities
- Verify and monitor relevant finished packaging codes as it relates to specifications
- Assist in effectively inspecting product for quality issues and remove defects/contaminants such as stones, wood, glass, plastic, etc., prior to packaging in accordance to specifications
- Perform timely checks to meet specifications
- Provide supervisors/managers with proper quality documentation as required
- Maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) with emphasis on safety
- Maintain quality to meet all standards required by FDA, USDA, etc.
- Ensure product quality to meet Customer, state and federal guidelines
- Other duties as required or assigned
