About The Position

We are seeking a Quality Inspector to join our Chaska team. At Entegris, we use advanced science and manufacturing excellence to enable technologies that transform the world. As a Quality Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring that incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products meet strict quality and customer specifications. You will perform visual and measurement-based inspections, complete process audits, document findings, and partner closely with production teams to resolve discrepancies. This role is ideal for individuals who take pride in precision, enjoy analytical work, and are motivated to grow within a team-oriented environment. This role will support and work on the third shift from 10 PM-6 PM CST. Shift differential bonus as well!

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1+ years of quality / inspection experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Ability to read and understand documented processes and procedures
  • Competency in reading blueprints, technical specifications, and inspection documentation
  • Experience using precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, pin gages, height gages, dial indicators, optical comparators, smart scopes, and CMM equipment
  • Familiarity with SAP, quality systems, or digital inspection tools preferred
  • Understanding of statistical process control (SPC), basic chart interpretation, and capability analysis
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high quality work
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. as needed
  • Ability to stand or sit for extended periods while performing inspections.
  • Manual dexterity to use precision measurement tools and handle small components.
  • Ability to work in manufacturing environments requiring PPE such as safety glasses and steel toe shoes.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products against specifications using visual, mechanical, and measurement-based methods
  • Perform measurement tests using tools such as calipers, pin gages, height gages, indicators, micrometers, optical comparators, smart scopes, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM)
  • Approve or reject product based on defined criteria; create quality notifications (QN) for non-conformances and document findings thoroughly
  • Communicate discrepancies promptly to supervisors and production teams, partnering to determine root causes and appropriate next steps.
  • Complete inspection reports, logs, and digital entries within quality databases and ERP systems such as SAP.
  • Conduct process audits and perform capability studies to support continuous improvement and process stability.
  • Keep measurement equipment in good working order by following operation guidelines and reporting repair needs.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant work environment by following all standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Support cross-functional teams with data, insights, and collaborative problem solving to drive product and process excellence.
  • Perform additional duties as needed to support quality, production goals, and customer expectations.
