About The Position

Ryder is immediately hiring for a permanent, full-time Quality Coordinator position at our warehouse manufacturing facility in Wilmer, Texas. This role is crucial for maintaining the quality and safety standards of our operations. Ryder Warehouse Associates work in clean, organized, and well-run facilities to provide the safest supply chain environment. Various warehouse fulfillment specialist roles at Ryder support distribution across the US. At Ryder, you will be part of a team-first culture built on respect when joining a community of proud women and men in Supply Chain, including many Military Reservists and Veterans.

Requirements

• High school diploma required
• Previous experience in food grade facility
• Experience with GMPs, FDA, USDA, etc.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Nice To Haves

• Associate's Degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Verify and monitor relevant finished packaging codes as it relates to specifications
• Assist in effectively inspecting product for quality issues and remove defects/contaminants such as stones, wood, glass, plastic, etc., prior to packaging in accordance to specifications
• Perform timely checks to meet specifications
• Provide supervisors/managers with proper quality documentation as required
• Maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) with emphasis on safety
• Maintain quality to meet all standards required by FDA, USDA, etc.
• Ensure product quality to meet Customer, state and federal guidelines
• Other duties as required or assigned
