About The Position

DecisionPoint Technologies is seeking a Warehouse Project & Quality Coordinator to join our Greensboro, NC team. This is a temporary-to-hire opportunity for an individual who can demonstrate strong performance and become a valuable long-term member of our team. The position offers the opportunity to establish yourself within DecisionPoint while playing a critical role in customer order execution and warehouse operations. The Warehouse Project & Quality Coordinator serves as the key link between customer account requirements, project management, and day-to-day warehouse execution. This role owns the customer order journey through the warehouse, from receipt and order intake through picking, packing, quality control, and shipment. You will work closely with Project Managers and the warehouse team to translate customer requirements into clear floor-level execution, monitor progress, identify risks, and resolve or escalate issues before they become customer-facing problems. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, highly detail-oriented, and comfortable making decisions in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Success in this role means orders move through the building on time, at the right quality, with no surprises, and when something does go wrong, the right people know about it quickly.

Requirements

  • 2–4+ years of experience in warehouse operations, order fulfillment, logistics coordination, project coordination, or a related field.
  • Experience supporting customer accounts or working in a customer-focused operational environment is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
  • Basic to intermediate proficiency with Excel or comparable reporting tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify, document, and act on quality issues under schedule pressure.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate problems early and clearly rather than waiting for issues to become customer-facing.
  • Ability to coordinate work across teams without formal authority over the individuals performing the work.
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Ability to manage multiple orders, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Serve as the warehouse-side communication link to the Project Management team.
  • Provide timely order-status updates and proactively communicate risks.
  • Surface conflicts between warehouse throughput and customer requirements to the Logistics Manager and Project Manager.
  • Deliver accurate and timely communication, even when the news is difficult.
  • Maintain accurate records of order status, exceptions, quality holds, and QC outcomes.
  • Provide information and reporting that helps identify recurring operational issues.
  • Identify root causes of delays, errors, rework, and quality issues.
  • Recommend practical process improvements rather than repeatedly working around the same problems.
