About The Position

Bio-Rad is looking for a Warehouse/Production Operator I who will be responsible for performing production/warehousing duties within the SAP system including goods receipt, material put away, component inspection, cycle counting, and staging and picking of materials for production. This role will assist other departments as needed. This position must be based in Irvine, California and requires the employee to be located within commuting distance of the office.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Must be able to drive a forklift and become certified internally
Related shipping/receiving experience.
Experience in a manufacturing environment with perishable products preferred.
Microsoft Word and Excel familiarity.
Goal-oriented team contributor.

Responsibilities

Performs daily routine tasks: receives, stores, picks, packs, ships and/or distributes materials while performing real-time transactions in SAP ERP system.
Weighs/dispenses chemicals to manufacturing team based on system demand signals.
Performs cycle counts and other inventory transactions.
Verifies goods received against documentation.
Performs initial quality check on incoming product.
Maintains shipping and receiving materials by checking stock to determine inventory levels.
Utilizes motorized and non-motorized equipment to move materials, parts, supplies and equipment as instructed.
May operate a forklift.
