About The Position

Control or operate machinery or equipment to assist with manufacturing, packaging, and other steps along a production line. May be expected to handle heavy machinery. The essential functions of this position include but are not limited to the safe and effective operation and minor adjustments of all packaging equipment, proper handling, packaging, labeling, coding and marking of product, accurate and timely sampling of materials and communication to the lab, accurate and timely documentation of your production day, maintaining a safe, healthy and clean work environment, reporting all accidents or near misses to Lead/Supervisor, supporting other production lines and assisting Spray Operators, regular on-time attendance, proper and timely communication of equipment performance to Operators/Leads, effective evaluation of the quality of all packaging raw materials consumed in the operation, and completing all product change overs in an efficient and timely manner. This position operates in a production/plant environment 95% of the time. IFF has announced its intention to sell its Food Ingredients Business to CVC Capital Partners. The sale is presently expected to close in the first half of 2027, pending regulatory approvals and other closing conditions. The Food Ingredients business unit will remain a part of IFF until close and, at such time, it will transition to CVC Capital Partners. Requirements

Must be willing to work in hot and/or cold environments.
Must be willing to work in a dusty environment and be willing/able to wear half or full-face respirators.
Regular on time attendance.

Safe and effective operation and minor adjustments of all packaging equipment.
Proper handling, packaging, labeling, coding and marking of product.

Accurate and timely documentation of your production day.

Operate the department with written SOP's and work instructions.
Cooperate, coordinate, and communicate with other shifts and site departments.
Follow written and verbal instructions and work independently or as part of a team as necessary.

All product change overs are completed in an efficient and timely manner.
