About The Position

Ale-8-One Bottling Company is seeking qualified candidates for a full-time Warehouse/Production Floater. This position will be a hybrid position with the candidate being able to work both in Production & Warehouse. The candidate will also help with the repack area, adhering to SOP’s for this process including repack and proper disposal. Duties also include food safety GMP activity, daily clean-up and other tasks as needed or assigned daily. This position is an entry point into our Warehouse and Production and requires excellent attendance, workplace behavior, and basic math and counting skills. Teamwork as well as flexibility in daily work activity and assignments are key competencies required for this position. Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Have a working cell phone with the ability to receive company text messages.
• At least 2 years’ work experience.
• HS Diploma/ GED or equivalent.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays when required.
• Safely operate a forklift and machinery/ equipment.
• Follow and perform all GMP’s (Good Manufacturing Practices for Food Safety).
• Exposure to warm and cold weather conditions and temperatures
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and comply with PPE requirements.
• Basic math and counting skills for loading accuracy.
• Must have excellent verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be detail oriented.
• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to remain calm and project a calm presence during tension and crisis.
• Must be dependable; excellent attendance and punctuality are critical to the success of this role.
• Possess good organizational skills.
• Follow PPE guidelines, as required.

Responsibilities

• Building full pallets of product by hand from the ground up to pallet tag specifications daily / continuous standing, grasping, and handling of materials and frequent walking, bending, twisting, stooping, squatting, kneeling, reaching, overhead.
• Read pallet tag and truck load specifications to build pallets and load truck and trailers accurately.
• Operating production line equipment
• Perform all clean-up activities, including sweeping, mopping, trash clean up, etc.
• Use safe Lifting and Carrying techniques.
• Participating in the safe lifting/ carrying training and observations, as well as coaching with our third party on safety.
• Must be able to consistently perform the highly physical activity: reaching, lifting, carrying, and handling heavy weight.
• Adhering to SOP’s for repack and proper disposal.
• Food safety GMP activity, daily clean-up and other tasks as needed or assigned daily.
