Requirements
- Effective time management, organizational skills, and outstanding attendance.
- Ability to follow established department policies, procedures, and objectives.
- Detail-oriented and capable of multi-tasking.
- Able to work alone or with others to complete tasks.
- Able to read/write English.
- Capable of lifting 50-75 lbs. on a regular basis.
- Must pass a background check.
- HS graduate or equivalent required.
Nice To Haves
- 2 years of previous warehouse experience.
- Familiarity with basic power tools and hand tools.
- Forklift experience is a plus.
- Mechanical inclination is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Disassemble manufacturing equipment to prepare it for further processing, ensuring cleanliness and proper handling.
- Generate pre-SKUs (Stock Keeping Units) using computer systems and accurately label items for inventory tracking.
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments, verifying product quality and quantity.
- Identify different metal materials (e.g., steel, aluminum, copper) and organize them for efficient storage and processing.
- Adhere to company standards for cleanliness and organization, and champion safety practices within the warehouse.
- Execute assigned tasks promptly and efficiently, collaborating with team members to achieve objectives.
- Operate various equipment, including cameras, forklifts, standing lifts, rolling ladders, floor scales, and desk scales, prioritizing safety.
