About The Position

Porters work as a team to maintain a clean and tidy environment throughout our facilities. These critical roles help to support our prideful work environment and the delivery of high quality product to our customers. Earn $17.50 per hour. 1st shift: Sunday through Thursday 8:00am to finish. Located in Plant City, FL.

Responsibilities

Providing and maintaining a clean and safe work environment by acting as a custodian / janitor
Performing janitorial duties such as cleaning the entire warehouse, including office space, employee break areas, windows and restrooms
Maintaining good housekeeping by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, buffing and waxing floors
Occasionally pulling product out of pick slots using an electric pallet jack to clean with a scrubber and returning product
Tending to spills including damaged product, oil, grease, etc.
Collecting plastic wrap, shredded paper, and empty boxes to be disposed of properly
Following all material handling equipment safe operating procedures
Occasional safe lifting of varying case weight, shape, and height levels
Having the ability and willingness to follow all material handling equipment safe operating procedures
