About The Position

Northern Haserot is seeking a dedicated and reliable 3rd-shift Porter to join its Sanitation team. The role is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the facility and supporting a welcoming environment for guests and staff. The Porter is expected to uphold high standards of cleanliness and service in accordance with FDA/ODA standards. The position is onsite Sunday through Thursday, 9:00 PM to 5:30 AM.

Requirements

• Previous cleaning experience in an industrial or warehouse setting.
• Ability to work in freezer areas for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently as a self-starter.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 75 pounds throughout an 8-hour shift.

Responsibilities

• Keep aisleways clear of debris and spills.
• Properly treat dry and wet spills.
• Gather damaged items and place them in the designated area.
• Monitor and empty trash cans throughout the shift.
• Operate the trash compactor to dispose of trash.
• Wipe down guard rails, door handles, and other frequently touched surfaces.
• Safely operate a single ride-on pallet jack.
• Maintain cleanliness in the warehouse employee breakroom.
• Perform other routine daily cleaning and sanitation duties as needed.
