About The Position

We are seeking a dependable and motivated Warehouse Picking and/or Receiving Lead to oversee daily warehouse operations within assigned functional areas. This role is a hands-on leadership position responsible for supporting either picking and/or receiving functions while leading, coaching, and holding team members accountable to performance, accuracy, and safety standards. This is an excellent opportunity for a high-performing warehouse team member ready to step into a leadership role and make a direct impact on operational success.

Requirements

  • Previous warehouse experience in picking, receiving, or inventory control
  • Demonstrated leadership ability or readiness to step into a lead role
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize and perform in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills
  • Positive attitude with a hands-on, team-first approach

Responsibilities

  • Oversee accurate picking and staging of customer orders
  • Ensure correct parts, quantities, and on-time order fulfillment
  • Maintain organization and efficiency within picking zones
  • Support outbound preparation including totes and shipments
  • Oversee accurate and timely receiving of incoming freight
  • Ensure proper entry of shipments into ADIS/TPW systems and logs
  • Direct staging and flow of incoming product for stocking
  • Monitor receipt and handling of small parcel shipments (UPS, FedEx, Spee-Dee, etc.)
  • Support loading/unloading of trucks and product movement
  • Assist with inventory control activities including cycle counts
  • Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and safety standards
  • Collaborate across teams to ensure efficient daily workflow
  • Lead, coach, and develop warehouse team members
  • Hold team accountable to productivity, quality, and safety expectations
  • Provide training, direction, and real-time problem solving
  • Monitor workflow and adjust priorities to meet operational goals
  • Promote a positive, team-oriented culture
  • Communicate performance, challenges, and opportunities to warehouse leadership
