About The Position

Cumberland International Trucks, Inc. is seeking a high-energy, motivated, & personable Parts Warehouse Picker/Packer to join our team in Orlando, FL. This role involves assisting warehouse personnel and Delivery Drivers with the timely and accurate delivery of parts to wholesale and retail customers. Key responsibilities include maintaining inventory accuracy, picking and packing products in order of ticket, and ensuring overall warehouse organization. The position may also involve stocking, filling, and sometimes delivering diesel truck parts. Cumberland has a large parts inventory for medium to heavy-duty, class 7-8 parts to serve customers efficiently. The company emphasizes internal hiring and career advancement, with many leaders having progressed within the company.

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 75 lb. packages
• Appreciation for teamwork, excellent communication/listening skills, & awareness of others
• High School degree or equivalent

Nice To Haves

• Warehouse &/or dealership experience desired
• Mechanical aptitude or experience in automotive &/or truck mechanics is preferred
• Parts department experience, in a truck dealership or truck aftermarket environment is a plus
• Trade school education in Parts Operations or Transportation Technology is a plus

Responsibilities

• Quickly respond to customer parts or info requests, determine availability/price info & document carefully
• Accurate receipt, stocking & delivery of parts in a timely manner, matching numbers to pull parts orders
• Accountability for the receipt of customer cores
• Maintain & operate delivery vehicle as per company policies, when parts deliveries are needed
• Excellent customer service skills internally & externally
• Maintain & operate forklift &/or delivery vehicle as per company policies, when needed
• Pack items, scan barcodes, and move packages to the correct location for shipping
• Inspect merchandise and products to ensure they have the right items, are not damaged, and nothing is missing per the order
• Warehouse duties as assigned by the Stock Control Supervisor
