About The Position

This position is responsible for retrieving, moving, and stacking merchandise; handling product with material handling equipment other than forklifts; picking and packing orders; maintaining inventory records; and keeping the production area organized and clean. The role also involves maintaining equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion. The employee prepares orders by pulling materials, performing light assembly, packing boxes or pallets, and moving orders to the appropriate staging or shipping area using a computer-based WMS. Duties include labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing, repacking, storing merchandise, preparing skids for outbound shipments, and moving products into outbound trucks and trailers. The employee may unload inbound shipments and move products to storage locations, remove trash as directed, and follow the FIDELITONE Standardized 5S Program to maintain a safe and clean work environment. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in the warehouse industry; relies on instructions and established guidelines to perform the job.
Must be able to read, write, comprehend, and speak English.

Ability to adapt to workplace changes and shift priorities easily.

Nice To Haves

Basic knowledge of computer systems.
High school diploma or equivalent and 6 months to 1 year of related experience are preferred.

Responsibilities

Pull materials, perform light assembly, pack boxes or pallets, and move orders to the appropriate staging or shipping area using a computer-based WMS system.
Label, sort, wrap, pack, and repack products.
Stack and store merchandise in the appropriate areas.
Prepare and stage skids for outbound shipments using different carriers.
Move product from staging or storage areas into outbound trucks and trailers.
Unload inbound shipments safely when needed and move product to storage locations.
Remove trash as directed when products are unwrapped or assembled.
Follow the FIDELITONE Standardized 5S Program to maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Maintain equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion.
Perform other duties as assigned.
