Warehouse Pick & Pack / Assembly - 1st Shift (6am to 2:30pm-Mon thru Fri) (35533)
About The Position
This position is responsible for preparing product to ship per customer’s request. Responsibilities include pulling correct product from shelves, assembling and checking product by labeling, packing, counting, and sealing finished goods for stock or orders to be shipped. The role also involves using a wrapper for preparing skid orders, reporting and documenting basic material, production, and quality control issues, and learning to operate other equipment. The position requires the ability to read blueprints to ascertain correct specifications and perform in-process inspections, safely move material using a forklift and/or pallet jack, and maintain an orderly work area using the 5S procedure. Assisting other individuals, communicating effectively, promoting teamwork, and adhering to company policies are also key aspects of this role. Excellent attendance is expected, along with performing all other duties assigned by Management.
Requirements
- H.S. Diploma or equivalent may be required
- Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills required
- Must be able to read and understand blueprints, tape measure
- Understanding and support of Company policies and procedures
- Safety conscious behavior
- Lift, carry, push and or pull 1 – 60+ lbs. frequently
- Squat/kneel, bend/stoop, twist/turn, grasp and reach overhead and outward frequently
- Sit, stand and walk for 1 – 10 hours per day
- Close mental and visual attention required, coordinating manual dexterity with mental and visual attention for sustained periods of time
- Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen
- Ability to work in a 55 – 85-degree Fahrenheit work environment

Responsibilities

- Cleans and maintains an orderly work area using the 5S procedure set up
- Assist other individuals in the area when needed
- Communicating effectively with other workers, promotes teamwork, effective communication, and adherence to company policies, process, and procedures

- Perform all other duties as assigned to by Management.

- Salary Range: $14.50 Hourly
