About The Position

The Warehouse Person is responsible for a variety of tasks related to receiving, storing, and distributing products. This role involves ensuring accuracy in shipments, maintaining inventory, and providing excellent customer service. The position requires adherence to safety regulations and company policies, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of three months related experience and/or training.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and effectively manage multiple priorities in a demanding work environment.
  • Must be able to acquire and maintain appropriate gaming license.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to read and communicate verbally in English.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to perform operations using units of American money, weight measurement, volume, and distance.
  • Must be able to count money, gaming chips and make change efficiently and accurately.
  • Possess the ability to operate an adding machine and have basic computer skills.
  • Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Team members must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state, and local regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide friendly, fast, and helpful customer service to all guests and team members.
  • Receive products from vendors, count items to ensure order accuracy, and record receipt of goods in the Stratton Warren system.
  • Arrange internal distribution of products, including delivery to departments.
  • Process shipments to outside vendors and arrange for pick up.
  • Submit daily documentation of goods received to Accounting.
  • Compile information and complete reports as needed.
  • Examine contents and compare with records to verify accuracy of incoming or outgoing shipments.
  • Determine shipping methods, using knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates.
  • Record shipment data for reporting, accounting, and record-keeping purposes.
  • Contact carrier representatives to make arrangements and issue instructions for shipping and delivery.
  • Correspond with establishment representatives to resolve issues such as damages, shortages, and non-conformance.
  • Requisition and store shipping supplies to maintain inventory.
  • Deliver or route materials to departments using work devices, hand truck, pallet jack, or cart.
  • Pack, seal, label, and affix postage to prepare materials for shipping.
  • Ensure the safety of team members by keeping areas clean, free of hazards, debris, and litter.
  • Perform all job duties in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Meet department uniform, appearance, and grooming requirements.
  • Adhere to regulatory, department, and company policies.
  • Perform other job-related and compatible duties as assigned.
