About The Position

ABM is seeking a reliable and experienced Warehouse Janitorial Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in buildings and facilities. The role includes operating specialized equipment, handling cleaning chemicals, and performing general janitorial duties as needed. The schedule is Friday through Sunday, 5:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. The stated pay rate is $17 per hour; a specific offer may vary based on experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and market data. The role may suit someone entering or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education. Veterans and candidates with military experience are encouraged to apply.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
A high school diploma, GED, or college degree is not required.

Nice To Haves

One year of similar work experience.
One year of customer service experience.

Responsibilities

Clean and maintain assigned buildings and facilities to ensure a sanitary and safe environment.
Clean and sanitize restrooms, and service and restock them with necessary supplies.
Sweep, mop, scrub, or vacuum floors.
Follow assigned work schedules and route cards, and report barriers.
Move cabinets, furniture, boxes, crates, and equipment manually or with hand trucks to clean areas.
Clean interior glass, windows, mirrors, and partitions using appropriate cleaning solutions and tools.
Gather and dispose of trash and recyclables.
Wipe down furniture, appliances, and equipment.
Use chemical cleaners and power equipment according to proper procedures to avoid damage to surfaces and fixtures.
Notify management when building systems need repairs or additions.
Maintain effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, and supervisors.
Adhere to company, client, and regulatory safety, security, compliance, and quality standards.
Complete other duties as assigned.
