WAREHOUSE PERSON - CB & VR - FULL-TIME - DAY SHIFT
About The Position
The Warehouse Person inspects incoming materials against bills of lading and/or freight bills to verify quantities and shipment condition. The role stocks food, materials, and supplies received in the Warehouse and delivers internal orders placed by other departments through the Warehouse. This position requires a willingness to learn, quality control, customer relations, procedural compliance, strong multitasking and organizational skills, and the ability to understand and follow verbal directions. Previous experience is preferred but not required. The role involves considerable physical exertion and work in a warehouse environment that includes freezer and cooler storage lockers, indoor and outdoor areas, and moderate safety risks. The operation runs 24 hours a day, seven days a week, with varying shifts that include weekends and holidays.
Requirements
- Minimum age of 21 years.
- South Nevada Health District Health Card.
- Valid driver's license.
- DMV driving history printout no more than 30 days old.
- Willingness to learn.
- Quality control, customer relations, and ability to follow procedures.
- Excellent multitasking and organizational skills.
- Ability to understand and follow verbal directions.
- Ability to perform considerable and strenuous physical exertion, including frequent climbing of tall ladders, lifting objects over 50 pounds, crouching, or crawling in restricted areas.
- Ability to work with required safety precautions and protective clothing or gear.

Responsibilities
- Inspect incoming materials against bills of lading and/or freight bills for correct quantities and shipment condition.
- Stock food, materials, and supplies received in the Warehouse.
- Pick up and deliver incoming and outgoing food, materials, and supplies as directed by the Warehouse Supervisor.
- Issue materials as requisitioned in accordance with standard procedures.
- Receive and unload materials from delivering carriers using a hand truck.
- Complete paperwork and maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Comply with Company and Department policies and procedures and OSHA regulations.
- Provide superior customer service, as measured by internal customer feedback.
- Promptly support internal customers with warehouse-stocked items.
- Seek out new product sources to lower the cost of goods.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned and instructed by management.
