About The Position

The Warehouse Person inspects incoming materials against bills of lading and/or freight bills to verify quantities and shipment condition. The role stocks food, materials, and supplies received in the Warehouse and delivers internal orders placed by other departments. The position also picks up and delivers incoming and outgoing items, issues materials according to standard procedures, unloads deliveries, completes paperwork, and maintains an orderly work area. The employee must comply with company and department policies and procedures and OSHA regulations, and perform other related duties as assigned by management.

This is a full-time, day-shift position. The stated starting rate is $18.00. Applicants must be at least 21 years old and hold a Southern Nevada Health District Health Card and a valid driver's license, with a DMV driving history printout no more than 30 days old. Previous experience is preferred but not required.

The work involves strenuous physical exertion, including frequent climbing of tall ladders, lifting objects over 50 pounds, crouching, and crawling in restricted areas. The employee may work around moving parts, carts, or machines, in freezer and cooler storage lockers, and both indoors and outdoors. Protective clothing or equipment may be required. The workplace operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week, with varying shifts that include weekends and holidays.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have a Southern Nevada Health District Health Card.
• Must have a valid driver's license and a DMV driving history printout no more than 30 days old.
• Demonstrate willingness to learn.
• Previous experience is preferred but not required.
• Quality control, customer relations, and ability to follow procedures are required.
• Excellent multitasking and organizational skills are required.
• Must be able to understand and follow verbal directions.
• Must be able to perform considerable and strenuous physical exertion, including frequent ladder climbing, lifting objects over 50 pounds, crouching, and crawling in restricted areas.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming materials against bills of lading and/or freight bills for correct quantities and shipment condition.
• Stock food, materials, and supplies received in the Warehouse.
• Deliver internal orders placed by other departments through the Warehouse.
• Pick up and deliver incoming and outgoing food, materials, and supplies as directed by the Warehouse Supervisor.
• Issue materials as requisitioned in accordance with standard procedures.
• Receive and unload materials from delivery carriers using a hand truck.
• Complete paperwork and maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Comply with company and department policies and procedures and OSHA regulations.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned and instructed by management.
• Provide superior customer service as measured by internal customer feedback.
• Promptly support internal customers with warehouse-stocked items.
• Seek out new product sources to lower the cost of goods.
