Our total compensation package includes health, dental, vision, EFAP, life insurance, and job security. Starting wage for the Warehouse Parts Assistant is $18-$20/hour. The Warehouse Parts Assistant is responsible for supporting the receiving, organization, and movement of inventory within the parts department. This role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a willingness to work collaboratively in a high-paced environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma (required)
  • Minimum 1 year of shipping/receiving, supply chain, or warehouse experience (required)
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently throughout the day
  • Positive, hardworking, and safety-minded approach to daily tasks
  • Comfortable working in a high-pressure environment
  • Professional presentation and communication with colleagues and customers
  • Strong problem-solving skills: ability to define issues, collect data, and draw conclusions

Nice To Haves

  • Class 1 or Class 3 driver’s license (asset)
  • Propane forklift experience (asset)
  • Occasional evening and weekend availability

Responsibilities

  • Pulls and fills orders from stock; sets up orders for shipment, delivery, or pick-up
  • Receives, verifies, and organizes incoming shipments to ensure accuracy and quality
  • Places stock and supplies in designated locations or delivers to appropriate manager(s)
  • Maintains appearance of the Parts Department, including the front counter, display areas, and warehouse (dusting, wiping, sweeping, etc.)
  • Assists Parts and Service personnel in locating required parts efficiently and professionally
  • Keeps work areas neat, clean, and safe
  • Operates forklift safely and appropriately
  • May drive the Parts truck to pick up orders within the city
  • Processes warranty parts scrap reports
  • Manages dirty core inventory
  • Processes dirty core returns
