About The Position

We are seeking a hands-on, driven Warehouse Packaging Manager to lead our Ready-to-Eat (RTE) packaging operations. This role is responsible for overseeing daily production on the floor, ensuring that all products are packaged accurately, safely, and efficiently before distribution. The ideal candidate is a strong floor leader who thrives in fast-paced environments, is highly organized, and knows how to motivate teams while maintaining high standards for food safety and quality. You’ll play a key role in managing people, processes, and product flow at the final stage of our operation.

Requirements

  • Experience in high-volume catering, restaurant, hospitality, warehouse, or production environments
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Strong leadership experience in warehouse, production, or food operations
  • Ability to stay organized and make decisions under pressure
  • Clear communication and team management skills
  • Reliability and consistent on-site presence
  • Ability to lift, carry, or move up to 50–70 pounds
  • Comfortable using Excel and basic reporting tools
  • Ability to stand for extended periods in varying temperature conditions
  • Flexible availability, including early mornings and day shifts
  • 2+ years of experience in food production, warehouse, or logistics operations

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with BEOs is a plus (willing to train the right candidate)
  • Experience with inventory systems and warehouse workflows preferred
  • Experience with RTE, fresh food, or perishable goods strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day packaging production to ensure all orders are completed on time
  • Assign labor across packaging lines based on volume and priorities
  • Monitor workflow and adjust staffing or processes to keep operations running smoothly
  • Troubleshoot issues and remove bottlenecks in real time
  • Maintain strict adherence to food safety standards, including HACCP, GMPs, and FDA/USDA guidelines
  • Ensure all products meet quality standards for packaging, labeling, and accuracy
  • Oversee final checks, including weights, seals, and product labeling
  • Maintain cold chain integrity throughout packaging and storage
