About The Position
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Warehouse Package Handler Lead to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of package handlers, ensuring efficient and accurate processing of packages, and maintaining a safe work environment. This position requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse setting.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Proven leadership or supervisory experience.
- Ability to lift and move packages up to 50 lbs.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Forklift certification.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a team of warehouse package handlers.
- Oversee the sorting, loading, and unloading of packages.
- Ensure all packages are handled safely and efficiently.
- Train new team members on proper procedures and safety protocols.
- Monitor team performance and provide feedback.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all company policies and safety regulations.
