About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Warehouse Package Handler Lead to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of package handlers, ensuring efficient and accurate processing of packages, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment. This is a key leadership position that requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to motivate and guide a team.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
• Proven leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong understanding of package handling procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical ability to lift and move packages, some of which may be heavy.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Forklift certification.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of warehouse package handlers.
• Oversee the daily operations of the package handling department.
• Ensure timely and accurate sorting, loading, and unloading of packages.
• Train new team members and provide ongoing coaching.
• Monitor team performance and provide feedback.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to all safety regulations.
• Communicate effectively with management and other departments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during operations.
• Assist with inventory management and record-keeping as needed.
