About The Position

As a core member of our distribution team, you will be expected to work as a team in a fast-paced environment to meet departmental minimum requirements for units per hour and accuracy. You will be picking orders in our frozen warehouse. Perry’s will help you to achieve all of the above goals through feedback, education, and continuous professional development.

Requirements

Capable of working as a team in a fast paced environment to meet departmental minimum requirements for units per hour and accuracy
Tolerance for working in a frozen, -20oF environment.

Willing to learn and adhere to Department specific Safe Quality Food requirements and Safety Guidelines
Flexibility to work daily overtime as needed

Responsibilities

Work as a team in a fast paced environment to meet departmental minimum requirements for units per hour and accuracy
Work in our frozen warehouse picking orders!
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. regularly
Ability to work in an extreme cold environment reaching temperatures below -20oF
Capable of pushing/pulling up to 2000 lbs. for an extended amount of time (on carts, dollies, pallets) within temperatures of -20oF
Must be able to stand and walk for upwards of 12 miles per shift while maintaining footing on icy/slippery floors
Ability to use proper lifting/bending techniques from ground level to over the head at times
Ability to perform basic math calculations
Successfully complete OSHA certification for powered industrial vehicles
All other duties as assigned by supervisor
